Description
:
Overall responsible for the daily operation of Accounts Payable and Accounting.  Reports directly to Director of Finance with a dotted line relationship with CFO.
Supervise monthly closing with active participation in JE preparation of select critical items: Contractuals, bad debt, physician assistance, settlements, and large expense items.
Oversee AP accruals and prepare thorough and timely analysis of monthly expense categories (SWB, OCE, NCE).
Lead all reporting projects (i.e. OSHPD, Medicare Cost Report)
Prepare budget in TIBs.
Assist CFO and Director of Finance in all corporate mandated projects
Responsible for entering and monitoring eCERs, capital expenditure forecasting in MEZZIA, and overall organization and maintenance of capital expenditures compared to budget.
Perform all time keeping functions of the department and organize/run monthly department meetings.
Superuser for Postion Control and Visionware
Supervise and lead balance sheet reconciliation.
Lead cross training initiatives in finance department:

Qualifications
:
It would be preferred that the ideal candidate have at least 5 years of progressive financial health care or equivalent experience in the areas of general accounting; financial systems; financial statement preparation; review and analysis; multi-discipline management experience; ethics; and excellent communication skills.
