Position

Louis Vuitton North America seeks candidates for the position of Assistant Financial Controller, West Coast.   The Assistant Financial Controller will be responsible for reporting, budgeting and inventory follow-up for Louis Vuitton North America's West Coast operations.

Operations Reporting & Analysis

    * Implement daily, weekly and monthly internal reporting indicators for NY and Paris headquarters.
    * Devise daily performance analysis to track and improve overall efficiency.
    * Provide ad-hoc analysis to management as requested.

Finance Activities

    * Oversee and coordinate daily accounting activities.
    * Coordinate and prepare closings on a monthly and quarterly basis for submission to LVNA Financial Controller.
    * Participate in forecasting and budgeting process.
    * Review and validate invoices for payment.

Internal & Inventory Control

    * Oversee and coordinate Inventory Control.
          o Inventory valuation.
          o Physical inventory organization & follow-up.
          o Destructions management.
          o Inventory allowance follow-up.
    * Conduct daily product transfer reconciliation.

Profile

    * B.S. in Accounting/Finance. CPA preferred.
    * 5 - 7 years accounting experience. Big 4 background a plus.
    * Advanced quantitative, analytical and computer skills (especially Excel).
    * Able to work independently.
    * Detail and deadline oriented.
    * Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills.
    * French Language skills, retail industry experience and/or multinational company experience are a plus.
