General Summary:
This position is accountable for processing Company bi-weekly payroll and other accounting functions related to Payroll.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the preparation and disbursement of Multi-State/Multi-Location bi-weekly payrolls using ADP PC/Payroll for Windows and PayeXpert.
- Knowledge of E-Time electronic time keeping system.
- Create/modify reports in ReportSmith and Excel.
- Experience in general ledger accounting preferred.
- Assists HR Manager with weekly filing of documents in personnel files
- Process health/dental benefit deductions through payroll
- Confidential with strong knowledge of payroll processes and tax laws
- Other projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Multi-State payroll preparation
- Intermediate level of experience with ADP and ReportSmith.
- Intermediate level of knowledge in Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Excellent Organizational Skills
- Excellent attention to detail & accuracy
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Education/Other:
· BA Degree in Business, Accounting or related field
· 5-10 years prior payroll experience
· Footwear/wholesale experience (a plus but not required)
