SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Culver City, California, U.S.A.

Senior Accountant will handle investment accounting for a large portfolio of fixed income, equities, and real estate partnerships. Other duties include reconciliation to K-1?s and 1099?s general ledger maintenance, bank reconciliation, accounts receivables/payables, and preparation of schedules for month-end closing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reconciling of general ledger to 1099?s and K-1?s bank reconciliations.

Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

General Ledger maintenance

Month-end and year-end closings

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in accounting

At least 5-7 years investment accounting experience including equity, fixed income, and real estate partnerships

Knowledge/understanding of loan/mortgage transactions

Computer literate with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Strong and professional work ethic

Ability to work under pressure, organize and prioritize responsibilities

G & K Management Co., Inc. is a diverse real estate management company with buildings throughout California. Government subsidized ("Affordable") multifamily complexes comprise approximately 60% of the apartment-living portfolio. The remainder of the portfolio consists of conventional apartment properties, as well as mixed-use properties and marinas, congregate care facilities, commercial/industrial, and for-sale housing.
