Job Description:

Financial Services company located in Los Angeles is looking for a Senior Accountant on a temporary basis to help prepare for an audit. In this position, the Senior Accountant will review and prepare consolidated financial statements, audit balance sheets, ensure proper G/L coding on invoices, and perform month-end closing functions.   The Senior Accountant will also assist the Controller with performing profit/loss analysis, analyze revenue projections, assist with loan accounting, assist and be the liaison with internal auditors, and prepare cash flow reports.

Requirements:

    *
      Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 3 years of accounting experience within the mortgage lending industry. Experience with consolidated reporting is extremely preferred.
    *
      Great Plains software experience is required.
    *
      Strong Excel and Word skills are needed.
    *
      Having the ability to work very efficiently, independently, or in a team setting is essential.
    *
      This position requires the candidate to meet deadlines, and pay extreme attention to detail.
