Provide software acquisition support to DoD programs. Developing software guides and operating instructions for DoD contracts. Analyze and or develop software architecture, review technical software solutions and ensure proper system engineering processes and procedures are followed. Communicate and coordinate with Customer (analyze and develop requirements), subcontractors and vendors. Coordinate across collaborative development teams performing as a task leader for specialized groups of engineers; lead and participate in technical reviews for software program acquisition documentation, creating program schedules, tracking program status, evaluating operational and technical alternatives, performing assessments, managing and supporting integrated product teams. Perform software engineering analyses to identify the most suitable integration and installation, requirements analysis, test planning, system performance evaluations, interface testing, resource planning and scheduling, system maintenance, reliability and system evolution. Support Lead System Engineers. Advise in the intrepretation and tailoring of DoD acquisition regulations/memorandums. Lead and/or participate in proposal development efforts and identification of potential follow-on work. |
Ten plus years of experience evaluating embedded code, software risk analysis (cost, safety, systems etc.) and developing software guides and instructions for DoD contracts. Experienced judgment with innovative approached to accomplish systems related work and/or issues. Prefer working knowledge of DoD WBS and CMMI activities. Successful candidate has exhibited strong coordination and communication skills in resolving software issues, and demonstrated successful technical leadership, including DoD Acquisition background; (10+ years) experience with object oriented programming, software development; embedded code evaluation.
