Job Summary
This position is responsible for conducting analyses to support Client’s contracting and implementation activities. These analyses will be integral to the planning and successful execution of supply chain initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and measure cost savings. This position will work closely with the client and internal teams to collect raw data, generate output, and interpret results. Intelligence generated from the analyses are required to be in a presentation-ready format that client stakeholder groups may use to understand the opportunity or realized benefit of supply agreements. The analyst becomes the focal point for information collection and daily interface with Broadlane’s Procurement Services. Significant collaboration between Broadlane Corporate, client stakeholders and internal team members will keep all parties apprised of the status of initiatives related to the sourcing initiative is a critical function. Reporting updates and outcomes to various stakeholder groups are integral to this position and requires interface with various levels within the client organization. The Supply Chain Analyst will have significant interaction with various members of the Broadlane team on a daily basis and will prepare reports, perform analysis, and evaluate opportunities to achieve cost savings goals for the client. This position will report to the Vice President, Procurement Services.
Essential Job Functions
3-5 years of progressive business experience working with data in a marketing analytics and/or business intelligence capacity Work with multiple disparate data sources including Accounts Payable, PO file history, EDI and ERP transactions, price files and supplier sales reporting
Proficiency in large database manipulation through standard access tools, such as SQL (MS-Access, SQL Server), and reporting tools (Business Objects, Cognos, Crystal Reports and MS Reporting Services). Proficient in MS PowerPoint. Advanced Excel skills a must
