Western Region Account Manager - K12
This person will be responsible for all of the school districts in the Western Region that have partnered with K12 to help manage their virtual school programs.
Responsibilities will include:
* Working with the district sales team once deals are complete in order to make the implementation and transition as seamless as possible.
* Building implementation plans and project scope requirements
* Coordinating setup, trainings, and support
* Holding weekly planning calls as required
* Proactively will provide follow-up with partner school districts
* Driving new leads and opportunities through development of close customer relations
* Researching and developing school-specific systems to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements
* Collecting school metrics for K12 and school reports
* Providing support for the enrollment and registration process
* Overseeing issue resolution pertaining to technology, materials delivery, enrollment, and customer service, and reporting back to K12 for process improvement
* Acting as the partner district’s K12 point-of-contact in reporting issues and needs
* Overseeing the management of school data in state and K12 databases
* The retention of VSP customers
* Coordinating the renegotiations of contracts as required
* Attending partner school district board meetings and providing status reports as requested
* Monitoring funding and cost structure to align to K12 pricing requirements
* Serving as an ombudsman to districts in the interpretation of state requirements and program structuring
Requirements
* 4 year degree, or equivalent in work experience
* Ability to travel at least 25%
* Technology savvy, easy ability to learn new programs
* Excellent communication skills, oral, written, and presentational
* Previous account management experience preferred
* Ability to work independently and be a self starter
