Intuit’s Payment Solutions Division team is working on a highly visible, strategic initiative – building our non-US payments business. This entails evaluating and executing on opportunities to drive growth for Intuit in new country markets and with new global offerings.
The Director of Global Payments will report to the Vice President of Growth in the Payment Solutions Division. This highly visible position will build and lead a team responsible for developing payments solutions in targeted geographic areas. While partnering closely with Intuit’s Global Business Division, the individual will execute on defined strategies for new market entry, business model innovation, pricing and commercialization of new offerings. Responsibilities also include leading global alliance and partnership initiatives that support the growth of Intuit internationally. This will be accomplished by working closely with senior leaders to identify and prioritize alliances and then negotiate and manage these alliances consistent with overall company strategy. It is essential that the individual selected for this position be able to quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect throughout the organization at all levels, and be viewed as a team player.

Core Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit and interest in creating new business models and uncovering untapped market potential.
• Represent current and future vision of Intuit and be a main contact point for potential alliance partners internationally
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of customer needs and preferences, with an appreciation for cross-country cultural differences in the global payments space is essential
• Work across Intuit and with partners deliver on plans for new market entry, business model innovation, and commercialization of global payment offerings
• Understand and stay current with the competitive and platform payments landscape
• Provide thought partnership and analytical understanding to important business decisions involving existing or potential alliance relationships
• Support senior business leaders and work with appropriate functional groups (e.g. Legal) to structure and negotiate alliances and partnerships with selected companies
• Have a high level of energy as well as strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Have previous experience doing business around the world, especially in Asia and Europe

Qualifications: • MBA preferred, with a track record of strong academic performance
