Building on a history of technological innovation, AV designs, develops, produces, and supports an advanced portfolio of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and efficient electric energy systems.
WHO WE ARE
AV is a technology company focused on creating innovative solutions in the areas of unmanned aircraft systems and efficient electric energy systems. These solutions deliver tangible value to customers by increasing productivity, safety and efficiency. Founded in 1971, AV develops breakthrough technologies that create entirely new product categories, including unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and fast charge systems, and also minimize our impact on the environment. AV's culture is one of applied innovation, where individual creativity, curiosity and passion combine in a collaborative environment to create the future. We strive to deliver real value through our applied innovation, and we take seriously our responsibility to our customers, our employees and our world.
BREAKTHROUGH TECHNOLOGIES
"A history of making history" - five of AV's innovative creations are on permanent display at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC. These remarkable vehicles demonstrate the ability of our people to seize a vision and turn it into reality. Our capabilities in highly efficient aerodynamic design, power electronics and alternative energy, combined with an understanding of the technology-customer interface, enable us to deliver breakthroughs that drive rapid adoption and business growth.
Our two primary product areas, Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and PosiCharge Fast Charge Systems, have experienced rapid growth over the past several years based on their game-changing capabilities and our ability to develop long-lasting relationships with our customers. At AV, the rate of change is high, requiring individuals who can excel, adapt and help propel our businesses forward.
