Description
:
* Acts as a project champion who re-enforces commitment to successfully implementing and adopting new clinical workflows and the supporting systems
* Member of the leadership team and one of the hospital project charter and scope document approvers
* Acts as a co-pm with the IMPACT Project Manager to complete, manages to, and ensure timely compliance of hospital resources with the hospital specific project timeline and plan
* Works with IMPACT team and hospital resources to schedule or ensure scheduling of all activity during the project
* Facilitates and documents departmental and cross departmental discussions related to hospital projects deliverables. Departments include areas such as: Clinical, Nursing, Ancillary, Medical Staff, Admissions/Registration, Health Information Management, Revenue and Technical (ISD)
* Provides regular status reports to the IMPACT Project Manager, hospital project executive team and corporate/regional level executive teams when requested
* Escalates issues for resolution appropriately to IMPACT pm and/or hospital leadership
* Acts as a resource for 3rd party hospital vendor coordination related to implementing the ARRA scope of applictions such as: Test system refreshes or setups, Interface specification discussions and documents
* Ensures live readiness activities are completed by responsible resources such as: Thorough application build and testing, Thorough infrastructure testing such as wireless connectivity, hardware connectivity, configuration/placement and interface connectivity.
* Thorough training and competence follow up
* Thorough data conversion testing and review where applicable
* Thorough parallel/mock runs
* Documented live cutover plan and related live support schedule
