Requirements
Project or Program Manager to provide management of multiple programs from program inception to delivery; provide technical direction for design and manufacturing on respective programs; take action to minimize risks to program objectives. Establish project budgets; responsible for managing/meeting cost, technical, and schedule goals, planning, initiating actions, monitoring of progress and problem resolution. Manage the schedule/budgets of respective programs including monthly ETCs, customer reports, and informing management of status of significant events and opportunities. Manage proposal efforts, including writing proposals, creating or reviewing cost estimates, proposing alternate solutions to benefit the customer and PSI. Develop/maintain long term relationships w/customers to assure good marketing and technical exchange, reinforcing the Company's reputation and ability to meet the customer's needs. Provide technical programmatic support to potential customers to develop new opportunities into significant sales.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 5 years program or project management experience.
Must have BS Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
Must have ability to interface effectively at all levels & between various functional departments/customers. Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills; Knowledge of preparation of technical proposals, studies and program requirements; ability to effectively coordinate efforts with related functional departments.
Must meet the qualifications for TAA and other import/export licensing agreement requirements. Must have familiarity with government procurement budgeting, knowledge of financial systems and related financial information.
Must have knowledge of mechanical engineering design principles, practices, and procedures, specifically working knowledge of metal fabrication, machining, welding & testing, metal fabrication and/or aerospace manufacturing experience.
Leadership skills to meet program goals. Ability to prepare and maintain schedules, detailed budgets, financial data, ETC and other related financial data. Degree of skill in written, verbal and presentation communication skills. Ability to communicate Company position to customer.
Must have knowledge and understanding of manufacturing, mechanical engineering design principles, practices, and procedures within an aerospace manufacturing environment. Knowledge in stress analysis.
