Performance Responsibilities - Provide instruction in accordance with established curriculum and course outlines.

Minimum Qualifications:
Faculty/Educational Administrators complete the Equivalency Application only if you do not meet the minimum qualifications for the position you are applying to, and you wish to be considered. (A)The minimum qualifications for service as a community college counselor of students with disabilities shall be satisfied by meeting one of the following requirements; (1) Possession of a master's degree, or equivalent foreign degree, in rehabilitation counseling or (2) Possession of a master's degree, or equivalent foreign degree, in special education, and twenty four or more semester units in upper division or graduate level course work in counseling, guidance, student personnel, psychology, or social work; or (3) A master's degree in counseling, guidance, student personnel, psychology, career develpment, or social welfare; either twelve or more semester units in upper division or graduate level course work specifically in counseling or rehabilitation of individuals with disabilities, or two years of full-time experience, or the equivalent, in one or more of the following; (A) Counseling or guidance for students with disabilities; or (B) Counseling and/or guidance in industry, government, public agencies.

Salary Range Per LHE based on the current Part-Time Faculty Salary Schedule.
Pay Philosophy Starting salaries for support staff positions begin at Step-1 of the salary range. The first salary advancement is at the end of the 6-month probationary period. Further advancements are on an annual basis.
Starting salaries for management and supervisory positions are based on a combination of education, qualifications and experience. Initial placement is within the starting salary range. Further advancements are based on initial salary placement.
Starting salaries for academic positions are based on a combination of education and experience. Initial placement is within the starting salary range. Further advancements are based on longevity and professional development. An additional annual stipend is offered for possession of an earned doctorate from an accredited institution.
