JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Electro-mechanical systems engineer will be primarily involved in technical oversight of major engineering projects focused on the development and production of systems involving electric and/or hybrid power generation, system integration, and test.
- Responsibilities will include: monitoring and management of schedule, deliverables, and contractual issues of managed tasks; detailed internal and external cost and performance reporting; and interacting with technical task managers on a technical level.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND:
- Must have strong background in Electro-mechanical engineering.
- Design and application on power systems, such as inverters, and converters.
- Understanding of control systems and their function within an electro-mechanical system.
- Understand fundamentals of the motor drive systems.
- Knowledgeable of Computer Aided Design of mechanical and electrical system.
- Proficient at using design simulation tools - Mathlab, Mathcad, and simulink.
- Customer interface.
- 10+ years of experience with BSEE. MSEE is desirable.
