Position Summary:
*Verifies that all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies and procedures are maintained by employees within the department.
*Verifies that all sanitation and nutrition practices are maintained by employees within the department
* Maintains a clean, safe and unobstructed workspace.
*Ensure effective communication of all new recipes and preparation methods.
*Evaluate guest acceptance of new or upgraded products, as well as kitchen's ability to turn out quality products efficiently.
*Develop and maintain product specifications, presentation standards and preparation of recipes, including all postings and photos.
*Recommend corrective actions to management on quality and operations procedures.
*These duties are not exclusive and with consideration of the job requirements and employees skills, the job description can be added to or taken away from at the discretion of the employee's immediate supervisor.
Required Skills & Experience:
*A minimum of 2 years in a cookpreparation position.
*Must demonstrate hands-on experience in the field.
*Must have knowledge of kitchen equipment, work flow, costing techniques, food ingredients, and specifications.
*Must demonstrate leadership skills and training ability.
*Must be able to list up to 25 pounds.
* Must have a flexible work schedule and be available to work mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays.
