The Field Inspector directly supports Field Sales, Direct Sales, and Underwriting in conducting needed field inspections. The primary duties include, but are not limited to; conducting inspections, taking photos of properties in specific territories, conducting brush inspections by completing a brush report, and uploading photos for the requesting department. Home photos will include, but are not limited to; exterior of home, interior, yard, and underwriting risks. Exploring frontline underwriting and determining acceptability of risks. Auto inspection will include but not be limited to, photos of exterior, interior of vehicle, odometer reading and photos of engine and trunk. Inspections may also include watercraft. Documentation of details pertinent to the risk along with managing their daily and weekly schedules includes maintaining cycle time and production goals.
Job Requirements :
High School Diploma or equivalent certification required. Experience:1 – 2 years of prior insurance knowledge and/or related work experience preferred. Knowledge/Skills/Competencies: Advanced communication, interpersonal skills and organizational skills required. Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Office software including, word, access, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred. Must be self motivated, well organized, deadline orientated and possess advanced customer service skills. Special: Valid California State Drivers license, acceptable driving record and limits of Automobile Insurance required.
