The law offices of Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP is seeking an Associate Attorney in its San Bernardino, CA location with 2-4 years of litigation experience in the field of Medical Malpractice and Elder Abuse. The candidate must have strong familiarity with the MICRA, EADACPA, CLRA and related statutes, as well as, the State and Federal regulations applicable to all aspects of long-term care (in particular Title 22 and OBRA), experience with all levels of civil litigation including demurrers, motions to strike, summary adjudication, motions for preference, propounding/responding to written discovery, depositions of plaintiffs/percipient witnesses/treating physicians/expert witnesses, and trial support and preparation is also required. The successful candidate will also need writing, reporting, communication, and interpersonal skills.
