The Marketing Manager position exists primarily to manage the execution of strategic corporate marketing plans designed to help CCS achieve its goals in growing market share, awareness/reputation, revenue, and overall profitability. The position will write, coordinate the creation of, and schedule appropriate distribution for corporate marketing materials including the company website, brochures, sell sheets, direct mailers, direct emails, online and print advertising, case studies, presentations and other collateral. The Marketing Manager will also coordinate public relations activities and tradeshow participation as needed, and will collaborate with other departments to ensure internal communications meet corporate branding and positioning requirements. Success for this position will be measured by leads generated, new business acquired, clients retained, increased market awareness and improved employee engagement.

Marketing Communications
• Author, develop and manage compelling marketing communications materials for entire “client engagement lifecycle,” from materials used in lead generation, to presentations and proposals for closing client deals, to formal business reviews for existing clients
• Create, edit and maintain content for CCS’ corporate website
• Manage SEO and online advertising programs to ensure website becomes a key lead generation tool
• Ensure all corporate marketing communications adhere to branding requirements and effectively position and promote the company and its solutions
• Maintain a complete library of marketing collateral, keep all materials up to date, and ensure accurate materials are shared with, and used by, Business Development and other CCS teams
• Assist in the development of CCS’ marketing and promotion strategies


Public Relations
• Research and coordinate PR opportunities, pitching stories as appropriate
• Potentially work with outside firm to manage PR contact lists, editorial calendars, etc.
• Author press releases and manage approval process
• Submit articles to newsletters and other publications
• Submit company projects for awards


Corporate Communications (Internal)
• Maintain and manage a variety of internal communications for CCS to connect and engage employees, including The Channel intranet
• Liaison with various departments (such as CS and HR) to collect, write and edit content for the company’s internal communications
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with CCS team members and play a SME role with understanding of desired Communications issues/programs.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement Communications that increase company-wide awareness of Marketing initiatives and CCS’ success, with a goal of enhancing employee engagement


Project Management
• Manage the execution of CCS’ annual marketing plans, maintaining and adhering to agreed-upon schedules and budgets
• Communicate and coordinate with BD and strategic initiative teams to ensure marketing collateral meets identified needs
• Coordinate with other departments to develop and produce specific deliverables requiring graphics (CS), programming (IS) or specific data (IT)
• Acquire and maintain contact lists of clients and prospective clients to deliver marketing emails


Required Experience:
Hiring Requirements:
• Extraordinary writing skills, with the samples to prove it
• Minimum five years experience in copywriting, marketing, or public relations, preferably with a marketing services, electronics or technology company
• Experience in business writing and B2B marketing
• Demonstrated project management and ad scheduling experience
• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, with a major in English, communications, marketing or a related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
• Basic HTML skills, preferably with Adobe Contribute
