Group Manager

Currently, our Los Angeles office is seeking an accomplished public relations professional with 6 plus years of experience to join our Consumer Marketing practice as a Group Manager. This Group Manager will manage public relations and social media programs on behalf of an exciting array of client in the consumer products, video game, toy, digital entertainment and hospitality industries.

The Group Manager will oversee and implement a wide array of campaigns that will include proactive and strategic integrated communications campaigns that include media relations, social media, events and trade show and promotions. Must be able to manage multiple projects in a deadline-focused environment. S/he must have established media contacts within national, top-tier print and broadcast media media; as well as new media contacts such as online editors, journalists and bloggers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 6 plus years related professional, consumer/interactive entertainment communications experience (preferably within a PR agency environment). Candidate should have successfully achieved clients' objectives in the area of traditional media and social media/digital PR campaigns and be able to discuss tangible results. S/he must be highly organized and should be able to lead a team and client to success. S/he should possess technical knowledge to implement digital PR programs, sophisticated writing and media pitching ability, exemplary client service skills, tenacity, and creativity. S/he must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, on-line services, Internet and new media.
