Desert Regional Medical Center has provided a full range of quality medical care to one of the world's most famous resort area since 1951. Our 367 bed acute tertiary care facility is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), the nation's oldest and largest hospital accreditation agency.

We are located in Palm Springs, California, historically renowned as a legendary celebrity getaway and resort community. The dramatic desert environment offers spectacular views of the beautifully landscaped gardens, royal palms, majestic mountains and clear blue skies. The clinical nurse assumes principal responsibility for the total care assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of each assigned patient. The clinical nurse initiates teaching and educates the patient and family and/or significant other to attain optimal health. The clinical nurse is responsible for adhering to all standards of nursing care.

Qualifications

Graduate of accredited professional nursing program

Current RN licensure in the State of California.

Current BCLS certification.

Prior clinical experience is desired.

Effective verbal and written communication skills to communicate with people on all levels and able to maintain positive working relationships with patients, families, and co-workers inter- and intra-departmentally
