This position is critical to the success of the organization because we strongly believe that nothing happens until a sale is made. This job requires a strong work ethic, as well as the ability to work in a team environment. As an Account Manager you will be representing the leading IT professional services and consulting firm in Orange County.
Responsibilities:
Attain and maintain 100% of assigned quota on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Identify and sell to small to medium sized businesses in the Southern California area with strong focus on both North and South Orange County.
Prospecting, qualifying, demonstrating and closing new business for KnowledgeCentrix.
Building a pipeline of potential revenue on a continual basis.
Utilize existing sales tools, sales processes and KnowledgeCentrix resources to attain the assigned quota. Work with KnowledgeCentrix management to develop new sales tools and prospecting process.
Work with the Engineering team to ensure that all projects are transitioned for implementation in an orderly manner.
Participate in all sales meetings, seminars and scheduled events as required by KnowledgeCentrix Management including partner related sales activities including business planning and co-marketing strategy.
Represent KnowledgeCentrix in a professional manner at all times.
Complete all required paperwork on a timely and accurate basis.
Additional duties as required.
Required Skills:
Experience selling in Orange County
Minimum 4 years experience in direct sales of technology services
Demonstrated record of overachievement
Ability to work a complex sale where multiple levels of selling are required
Ability to clearly communicate with employees, management and prospects in a concise and professional manner
Ability to learn new technology
Able to work in a team environment, where the salesperson orchestrates the sales event and sales process
Ability to cultivate new opportunities by making existing client base aware of new, emerging or existing technologies, demonstrate to client the value of these technologies and how they can affect positive ROI for client
Desired Skills:
Completion on Professional Sales Classes, such as, Solution Selling, Strategic Selling or SPIN Selling
Bachelors Degree or equivalent
