Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced Director to maximize sales by identifying prospective users/buyers of consumer trends research, initiating contact, building relationships and closing sales. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of client needs, the role of market research and all aspects of marketing process and function to develop proposals that address the goals of the buyer and the corporation.
The candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues to expand opportunities within existing and potential accounts, represent the company at industry events, and identify new product/packaging opportunities that satisfy clients and increase the company’s share of market.
They will also maintain an active network of business leads using a variety of sources. Utilize the Company’s or contact management database to effectively manage information about new business and client activity. Summarize and track new business development through monthly pipeline (forecast) reports. May participate with client service team in account planning and renewal cycles to secure renewals, strengthen satisfaction and increase value.
Experience & Skill Responsibilities:
The candidate must be able to anticipate and respond to customer/client needs by seeking and acting on their feedback and effectively conveying requirements to the internal team. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong listening and presentation skills essential.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum 5- 7 years market research supplier background.
