Technical Skills

The ideal candidate possesses working knowledge and 10+ years combined experience in the following:

* Object-oriented analysis & design (OOAD), including modeling with UML
* Design Patterns - MVC, MVP, Gang of Four (GoF)
* Complete N-tier, Enterprise-level SDLC delivery experience
* Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 (knowledge of the CLR, BCL, etc.)
* Expert-level competency in C#
* ASP.NET 3.5 - Web Forms, AJAX
* XML and Web Services
* Windows Forms
* ADO.NET
* Enterprise Library, Unity
* SQL Server 2000 - 2008 (T-SQL, Stored Procedures, SSIS, Reporting Services)
* Multi-threaded processing and patterns (e.g. Microsoft Event Based Asynchronous Pattern)
* Object Relationship Mapping (ORM)

Experienced with - and the ability to identify appropriate use scenarios - for most of the following technologies:

* SharePoint, Web Parts
* InfoPath
* Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
* Windows Workflow Foundation (WF)
* Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)
* BizTalk
* Business Rule Engines (BRE)
* Third-party control libraries (e.g. Infragistics, DevExpress)
* Source control: Visual Source Safe (VSS), Team Foundation Server (TFS), Subversion (SVN)
* Unit Testing
* Deployment: MSBuild, nAnt, ClickOnce
* Platforms: Windows XP, Vista, Server 2000-2008, Mobile
* Reporting: SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Crystal Reports

Experience with the following is a big plus:

* Globalization and Localization
* Advanced C# - LINQ, Lambda Expressions, Dependency Injection
* ADO.NET Entity Framework
* Silverlight
* VB.Net

Desired certifications include:

* Microsoft Certified Architect (MCA)
* Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD)
* IBM Certified Solution Designer - Rational Unified Process
