Description

Responsible for working within a team environment to develop, enhance, and maintain several web-based applications.

Essential Job Functions:

Gather and document user requirements.

Contribute to team software development process improvement.

Participate in software development planning.

Design Web-based applications.

Perform developer testing.

Create and maintain developer documentation.

Required Skills:

Applicant must be experienced with VBScript , JavaScript, ASP, C#, ASP.NET, and other Web technologies such as CSS, AJAX, XML, XSLT, and the HTML Document Object Model.

Desired Skills:

Good communication skills.

Experience with developing customer requirements.

Web-based software security methods with application to Department of Defense policies (PKI and CAC).

Section 508 compliance (accessibility).

Relational database experience (MS-SQL Server) and report writing (MS-SQL Reporting Services).

Basic system administration skills for Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS).

Model-View-Controller design pattern experience.
