Our Cardiac Rhythm Management business unit, located in the suburbs of Los Angeles, is currently seeking the following professional:
Working in accordance with broad objectives, is accountable directly or through subordinate staff for the tactical and strategic support, development, and implementation of business applications for the CRM division. Responsible for leading, facilitating and directing the activities of a subordinate staff of 35+ employees. Monitors staff performance, coaches’ results, and reports status. Uses best business practices to ensure success in areas of responsibility. Promotes the process of continuous quality improvement and coordinates solutions for technical and personnel issues.
-Five plus years of proven experience as a Director in a highly regulated world class manufacturing environment.
-Knowledgeable in IT Governance best practices ITIL, Cobit, PCI.
-Experienced with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), ERP (SAP) and Product Data Management (PDM).
-Experienced implementing enterprise-wide business applications.
-Effective in building consensus between various stakeholders.
Requirements/Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent. Typically a minimum of ten plus years of progressively more responsible work experience including software application development support in a high technology manufacturing and engineering environment. Broad cross-disciplinary and in-depth knowledge and experience with industry accepted software design methodologies and project management tools. Familiarity and understanding of computer related hardware as well as operating systems. Requires highly developed leadership skills/experience sufficient to assume the responsibilities of this management position, including the ability to map task interdependencies, multi-task, prioritize such tasks, meet deadlines, and develop, monitor and live within budgets as well as the demonstrated ability to forecast major milestones. Must be skilled at delegation, follow-up, and team building. Must be able to work cooperatively and productively with multiple stakeholders. Demonstrated verbal and written analytical/problem solving, communication, negotiation, interpersonal and presentation skills are essential.
